We are excited about seeing all your babies at the upcoming tryout day (1/25)!  Here are a few things to remember/know: 

• Minors and Majors teams are determined by a draft.  Tryouts are simply for the coaches to see the kids for the draft process and for the board to ensure that the kids are in the correct division (and there are no safety concerns).
• Tryouts are held at the Shorey Complex (211 45th Ave N).
• Tryouts are held by Division.  If you aren't sure of the division you signed your player up for, please log in here to check.
• Please arrive 30 minutes before your timeslot to get checked in and warmed up.
• Divisional Tryout Times:
  • Minor A, Last Name Starting with A-L:  9:00am
  • Minor A, Last Name Starting with M-Z: 10:00am
  • Minor AA, Last Name Starting with A-L: 11:00am
  • Minor AA, Last Name Starting with M-Z: 12:00pm
  • Minor AAA, Last Name Starting with A-L:  1:00pm
  • Minor AAA, Last Name Starting with M-Z:  1:30pm
  • Majors, Last Name Starting with A-L: 2:30pm
  • Majors, Last Name Starting with M-Z: 3:00pm
• Please bring the player's glove, USA-stamped bat (if you have one), helmet and best attitude.
• Please check in at the table to get your wristband.  This is how we put the players in order.
• Everyone makes a team.  
• Siblings in the same division are drafted together.
• Draft restrictions are attempted to be met but are never guaranteed.
• If you are a head coach or the ONE asst coach, your child DOES need to tryout.  Your child will be marked "protected" in our tryout sheet, however, we will have board members evaluate the protected players to determine draft positioning.  
• Only 2 kids per team can be protected (unless there's a sibling situation).
• If a player does not tryout (and the division coaches do not know the player/can't gauge draft level), he/she will be randomly assigned to a team at the end of the divisional draft.
• Teeballers do not tryout.  The teeball teams are created on a basis of family requests, siblings, schoolmates, best friends, ex-friends, ex-boyfriends, carpools and 412 other factors.  We would have it no other way!  I love knowing when your kids have piano, football, karate and chess! :)
• Teeballers will receive a separate email with pre-season information.
• Softball players will not tryout at this time and will receive a separate email with more season details.

The makeup tryout is Monday, January 27 @ 6pm for Minor A/AA and 6:30pm for AAA/Majors. 

What happens after that?  Well, a major league-like draft...in a Little League board room....for 4 days until every last player has a home team.  Then we roster the teams, schedule the pre-season practices, the regular season practices and games.  Then, we PLAY BALL!  Easy, peazy, lemon, squeezy.
